You did read right! Eating more often during the day can help aid with fat burning. Instead of having 3 meals in a day we should be aiming for 6 meals in the day! So can it be this easy? Well yes and no. Having food more often during the day will help increase your metabolism as you are getting constant food in and just with the constant intake of food will cause the metabolism to shift up a gear as it is digesting the food. With the constant food as well this will help the muscles get in fuel to grow and get stronger over the day. Eating more often during the day can help with binge eating at the end of the day as you won’t get that over bearing need to eat.
This does have a down side, most people are use to eating three large meals and will eat 6 normal size meals which isn’t going to help with weight loss. So try to halve your three meals in 6 smaller meals during the day. This will mean that you are getting in the same amount of food which will cause the body to increase it’s base metabolic rate to keep processing the food.
So with good eating and smaller meals this can be another way of helping yourself get towards your weight loss goal and healthy living.
