Putting Weights away

Some gyms do this well and some struggle with getting clients to put weights away. With something so simple it seems to be very hard to get most people to put their weights away. So what’s the big issue with not stacking your weight plates away or just putting wherever you want? My experience I had with this issue was as follows – I was once in a gym using a hack squat machine and was using about 200 – 300 kg of weight on the machine. I was in a rush and quickly moved onto another machine once I finished and forgot to unstack my weights. Halfway through a set I had a nice older gentleman ask me to move my weights as he couldnt physically do it himself. From that day I realised that just because I can move a weight doesn’t mean everyone else in the gym can.
The other issue with weights on stacks is people will stack the lighter weight at the bottom and heavier at the front which causes the same issue as I explained above with the older gentleman. So I strongly encourage everyone to un rack your weights and if your gym has places for certain weights please use them.
