My fav music in the gym

Whether it is your favourite class or you are just working out in the cardio or weights room, music has been shown to help with exercise and this is scientific fact! Studies have shown that certain beats and speeds can help with pushing people harder if they haven’t been listening to music in the past. However I didn’t want to go into depth on the studies but my top ten songs to listen while I workout is:
Seek and Destroy – Metallica
Tarantula – smashing pumpkins
Best of you – Foo Fighters
Mission Impossible – Limp bizkit
Shoot to thrill – acdc
You could be mine – guns and roses
Cocky – Kid Rock
Put your money where your mouth is – Jet
Falling apart – Trust company
Enter Sandman – Metallica
You guessed it I’m a rock and roll/heavy metal fan and I enjoy listening to songs like these while I’m in the gym, it seems to top off my workout and helps me get more out of whatever I’m doing. I recommend whatever music pumps you up then get your ipod/mp3 player and use it. However try not to let the volume get too out of control because for all the studies showing music is good to exercise with there are so many more showing the effects of music on hearing loss.
